August book Reviews :

The Ultimate Game of Thrones BOOK TAG!

Yeh!…. It’s the Game of Thrones ULTIMATE book tag and also my first book tag.

Let me tell you that I’m crazy about this series,I love it so much! specially Jon, he’s love.

I was tagged by The YA Hunt, thanks! a lot.

  1. Mention the creator Orang-utan Librarian.
  2.  Answer ALL of the questions.
  3. Be a Lannister and pay your debts, tag people and keep it going!

1. We do not sow – A book you would not be willing to invest in:

Maybe Not by Colleen hoover.I generally like colleen hoover books but this book is not that appealing to me. After reading a few chapters it became a burden and i quit.
It’s story is very much predictable and definitely not my type.Books with just romance and without plots and twist are time and mood wasting to me and I do not sow for those books.

2. Fire and blood – A book that produced strong emotions in you:

It Ends With us by colleen hoover. This book took my heart,I loved every ounce of this book. All 384 pages. It’s a power pack of emotions. It made me cry ,smile ,laugh ,love ,hate. It’s my favourite book of 2016 till now. This very much left me with book hangover when I finished this.

3. Winter is coming – Your favourite winter read:

Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard. This book is so freaking awesome, you can literally feel those electrical power humming inside you.The powers, the action and little bit of romance a perfect recipe for best selling novel and Victoria knows it.Can’t wait for the third part.

4. Family. Duty. Honour – A book about strong family ties:

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare. Julian Blackthorn looked after the kids as well as he could even though he was barely old enough himself. His worries about them growing up and not needing him anymore nearly broke my heart. They were just this huge family unit and each one had such a distinctive personality.❤

5. Growing strong – A book you had low expectations of but grew on you:

Shatter Me by Tahren Mafi.I picked it out by myself and wasn’t really sure about it but it turns out to be one of my favourite series now i’m proud of myself for choosing it.It’s a must read series.

6. Ours is the fury – A book that made you furious:

Maze Runner by James Dashner. I don’t know  why I read books that I can guess the endings of after only a few pages. Probably to get that great righteous feeling of knowing I’m right. Maze Runner was one of those books, I’m mad that it was so predictable but I’m also glad I’m right because who would want to be wrong? Unfortunately I’m right and not happy.

7. Unbowed, unbent, unbroken – A book you have unwavering devotion to:

Rebel of the sand by alwyn hamilton. She’s more gunpowder than girl—and the fate of the desert lies in her hands. It’s awesome specially the girl Amani. Her charcter is so strong ,fearless and badass. This book is a mixture of action ,romance and magical powers so their’s no question on my devotions for this book.

8. A Lannister always pays his debts – A book you feel indebted to:

The selection series by Kiera Cass. There are certain books in my life that roped me back in to reading and this was one of them.I loved this series specially the first the books. This book just made my life so beautiful.

Who do you want to win Game of Thrones?

Jon Snow Oh sorry Jon Targaryen. He’s the best.

Who do you think will make it to the end and who do you think will die?

I think arya and bran will live and sansa will die. But this  is Game of Thrones. So I almost think everyone will die, even Arya D’: .

Would you win or die?

If it’s my game then I’m obviously going to win. I am far too competitive. But because I’m on the throne I will inevitably die. Woo.

What house are you?

House Stark according to this quiz.

Book Review-Rebel of the sand by Alwyn Hamilton(spoiler free)

She’s more gunpowder than girl—and the fate of the desert lies in her hands.

Mortals rule the desert nation of Miraji, but mystical beasts still roam the wild and barren wastes, and rumor has it that somewhere, djinni still practice their magic. But there’s nothing mystical or magical about Dustwalk, the dead-end town that Amani can’t wait to escape from.

Destined to wind up “wed or dead,” Amani’s counting on her sharpshooting skills to get her out of Dustwalk. When she meets Jin, a mysterious and devastatingly handsome foreigner, in a shooting contest, she figures he’s the perfect escape route. But in all her years spent dreaming of leaving home, she never imagined she’d gallop away on a mythical horse, fleeing the murderous Sultan’s army, with a fugitive who’s wanted for treason. And she’d never have predicted she’d fall in love with him… or that he’d help her unlock the powerful truth of who she really is.

I read this book on my favorite book tuber Sasha Alsberg’s recommendation and absolutely loved it.This story is so unique and appealing it’s a pact of  Romance, thriller, adventure, magic, mythology and is really entertaining. It has some  twist and turns although most of the time you’ll figure out where the story is going but that’s fine. It’s really fun reading it.
I loved Amani’s character very much she’s shown as a strong women from the starting of the story. She often dressed as boys and sneak out to compete with them in shooting competition as girls are not allowed there. She’s fearless, cool and has smart ass answers to every question. The only thing is she attract a lot of problems. You will cheer for Amani the whole way as she escapes the bonds of oppression and finds her own power.
The male character Jin is also great. He’s funny, sarcastic but very resourceful. He has a way out of problems and that’s why they are a perfect match. As it just has 320 pages i finished it really soon.Really a entertaining book and i’ll give 5/5 stars to it.
“Being born doesn’t make a single soul important. But you were important when I met you, that girl who dressed as a boy, who taught herself to shoot true, who dreamed and saved and wanted so badly. That girl was someone who had made herself matter. She was someone I liked.”
Alwyn Hamilton

Hello! guys, First the great news i got my 4th semester result and i scored 91%.I mean ya i did it,i’m amazing.Well it was pretty hard for my parents to believe that i score so good, cause according to them i’m wasting time reading these novels. But i finally made two things clear.First, i’m not wasting time i’m utilizing it by reading these and second, i can do more than one work at a time(you see my brain work faster than they think).Well its not their fault too.if you always sitting, walking, sleeping with a novel in your hand they will ask questions.

So coming to the point, this is my “August TBR(to be read)” books. Hope i finish them soon.I ‘m really excited about the Harry Potter and The Cursed Child ,Rebels of the sand, Glass Sword and Unravel me cause you know how mind blowing “Red Queen“,”Shatter me” and harry potter’s previous books were.Well if you don’t know its okay cause i’ll be reviewing the previous parts of some of these books.

I’m super excited for Rebels of the sand as it is recommended by my favorite book-tuber Sasha Alsberg. She’s such a sweet heart. And  i’ll also be reading  the kiss of deception on a friend’s recommendation as she’s crazy for this book.Hope i like it too.if you have any recommendations or warning for reading any of these books do mention it in comments.

Thank you for reading.(love you all)đź’śđź’śđź’śđź’śđź’ś……
